Porpoises at Strumble

Despite a cold Nor-Westerly onshore wind at Strumble creating quite a chop yesterday, several Porpoises were seen just off the lighthouse yesterday afternoon. The sea was too churned up by wind and tide for any accurate count but given the conditions it was just good to see them.

A porpoise with small calf was seen outside Fishguard Harbour by myself and later by Chris Pierpoint last week. I think we have seen Porpoises with small calves in nearly every month of the year!
